H547

The Hull Trawler Mauritius H547 ( Hull Steam Fishing & Ice Co Ltd ) along with the Hull Trawler Titania H903 ( Hellyer Brothers ) after leaving Hull for the fishing grounds for a 10 day trip would go missing, the only hope for the families was that the crews a total of 18 in number had been taken prisoner. Both vessels were given up as lost on 12 June 1915.

The Hull Trawlers Duke of Wellington and the Euclid which sailed on the same day as the Titania from Hull were sunk by German submarine in the North Sea and their crews taken prisoner.
