23 Nov 1946 Landed 24,500 stones of plaice which sold for £15.000

12 Mar 1948 The Man O War H181   Skipper George Double landed at Hull a catch which would beat the world record price at £16,996 for 4,102 kits, the previous record was landed in 1945 and held by Hull skipper Albert Cornish with 41,560 stone which made £15,830.

On May 07 1948 The Man O Wars record was beaten at Grimsby when the Icelandic Trawler Neptunus landed 5,709 kits which sold for £19,069.

20 Nov 1939 Reported and attacked a U Boat in position 51, 55N   01, 46 E she was joined by the Destroyers Gipsey and Griffin

14 Aug 1940 HMT MAN O WAR, Lt Arthur D White, Picked up 4 survivors of the British Merchant ship BETTY, which was torpedoed and sunk by German submarine U59 35 miles from Tory Island

26 Mar 1943 HMT MAN O WAR, Lt G L Coles, picked up 90 survivors of the British Merchant Ship CITY OF PERTH which was torpedoed and damaged by German submarine U431, Northwest of Oran, Algeria. HMT Man O War took the City of Perth in tow and beached her south of Cape Figalo, Algeria
