    Collision 27 02 1906 North Sea. Collided with the ST Egypt H126 of Hull , no damage done to our ship. Struck us with his starboard bow, on our port side. While fishing with the fleet through him suddenly altering course.

MALABAR H754

25 Sept 1905 The Hull Trawler Malabar arrived at Hull with the crew of the Hull Trawler Sydney which had been in collision and sunk by the Hull trawler Trinidad

The Malabar left Hull for the fishing grounds on 20th Dec 1915 and on the 27th Dec 1915 she was posted as missing after a period of severe weather, she was officially given up as lost on 19th January 1916 - possibly due to enemy action

Aug 17th 1915Charged at Hull Police Court for failing to join the Malabar 0n Aug 13th 1915 at Hull.  Watson was apprenticed to Kelsall Brothers & Beeching as a deckhand, On the 12th he was told to join the Malabar owned by The Hull Steam Fishing & Ice Co, at 5.30am the next morning, he replied he was not going and wanted to see Mr Burgoyne the secretary for Kelsall Brothers & Beeching, to have his indenture cancelled. In consequence of not joining the vessel it was delayed two hours. Prisoner asked whether being an apprentice, he was bound to join a trawler for another company. The Magistrates Clerk: Certainly. It is very clear. Judegement respited.
