29 Oct 1939 Lady Hogarth picks up the Crews from the Hull Trawler St Nidan and the Grimsby Trawler Lynx II sunk by U59 of the Shetland Islands.
On 2/3 May 1942 H.M.T Lady Hogarth was carrying out a anti-submarine patrol when it picked up the 3 survivors of a plane from Gibralter which had lost it`s way and ditched 5m from Cape Trafalgar, Towlson Jones and Mc Bride of 828 Sqdn where the survivors.
