Seaman 05 Jan 1940 Ronald Crimlis ( Ronnie ) was the son of Tom and Una Gladys Crimlis of Hull, Ronnie was also the younger brother of Joseph Crimlis 18 who perished aboard the Skegness H 14 at Speeton Cliffs in September 1935. Before joining the RNR Ronnie was also a Hull Trawlerman and like many others took up the call.
