IN THE NEWS

Sept 07 1972 : it was reported from Reykjavik Iceland that a Hull Trawlerman Barnard Carroll had to have his arm amputated in the local hospital after it was crushed by the trawl onboard the Hull vessel Falstaff. The Falstaff which was at the time fishing outside the new 50 mile limit transfered Mr Carroll to a German Support vessel which brought him to Isafjord Iceland
